Chinita's fair is almost here!!!

On November 18, 1709, an old washerwoman was the star of a miracle in a small planchette Lady of Chiquinquira appeared to be set in the heart and faith of all Zulia, who each year celebrate their arrival.

  In November the celebrations in honor of La Chinita paralyze the work of Zulia. The "BASILICA" of the Virgin of Chiquinquirá which is a ceremony held at the Basilica of Our lady which lowers the image of the Virgin of the altar to begin the tour in later days of the virgin by several Churches and places of the city. On this day devotees gather to serenade the Virgin, offerings and offer a Mass in his honor.

November 18 All have been converted from the time of the apparition of the Virgin of Chiquinquirá, in time of celebration for the faithful believers of the people of Zulia and its surroundings, with no civil or ecclesiastical law it has enacted. With music to the sound of the bagpipes, fireworks light the sky Maracaibo, chimbangles that resound with their drums, orchestral bands around a framework of fair accompany the Virgin in her journey through the streets of the Miracle, who comes to greet and blessed with a dazzling figure.

In my house all somo Catholic, celebrate the fair the Virgin of Chiquinquira, I go to parties customary to perform in honor of the chiniiita, I love going to the basilica and enjoy the fabulous shows.
